Project Management Experience
CBRE, Inc. – Project Manager supporting B2B new business development proposals ($5.75 Billion in transactions in 2020). This included creating the strategy for and development of proposals and presentations; serving as the liaison between brokerage teams and local/national marketing teams; and managing the local project team to ensure projects are completed in accordance to brand standards and deadlines.
Houston Health Department (City of Houston) – Project Manager over the $2+ million, 3-year grant funded Project PrIDe marketing campaign funded by the CDC. This includes developing and overseeing the Request for Proposal (RFP) procurement process to attain vendor services; coordinating the pre-bid conference; communicating with potential vendors to address questions; working with multiple City of Houston divisions/departments, the Mayor’s Office, and outside vendors; as well as creating an interim marketing campaign until the vendor was onboarded. a few components of this interim campaign included:
- Paid advertising with more than 35 media outlets and a combined total reach of more than 65 million (digital, in-print, billboard, and cable television).
- Graphic design projects – Ms. Mestousis designed approximately 15 pieces (flyers, icons, posters, brochures, mailers, palm cards, invitations, etc.), resulting in the production of more than 30,000 collateral pieces.
Midtown Management District – Managed the organizational website redesign initiative with a budget of approximately $10,000. Oversaw the website strategy and content development; as well as providing vendor management throughout the course of the project.
Houston Public Works (City of Houston) – Managed the development of a report requested by City of Houston Mayor, Annise Parker, detailing the approximately 10 – 20 new, monthly community engagement activities. This report enabled Mayor Parker to have a detailed overview of Public Works community outreach initiatives and required the oversight of eight (8) individuals within various Public Works divisions; as well as continuous communication with the mayor’s office.
