Who Is Katherine?
Katherine Mestousis is currently a Regional Communication Lead at Indorama Ventures. There, she oversees the change management communications efforts for the implementation of a global S.A.P system.
Prior to Indorama Ventures, Katherine has served in various communication, marketing and government affairs roles for highly respected organizations such as Fortune 200, commercial real estate firm, CBRE; the City of Houston Public Works Department, as well as the Houston Health Department; and the Midtown Management District.
At CBRE, Katherine managed marketing and client proposal projects which directly impacted business development and sales. At Houston Public Works, Katherine facilitated the development of a communications plan for ReBuild Houston; a full-scale social media campaign for the department; as well as multiple community engagement initiatives. At the Houston Health Department, she primarily served as the project manager of a citywide marketing campaign funded by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) that can be viewed at I am Life. This included managing the 1.5-year Request for Proposal (RFP) procurement process to attain a $2+ million contract for vendor services, crafting the RFP, overseeing vendor relations and more.
Katherine offers more than 10 years of experience in public relations, community outreach, project management, event planning, volunteer management, and more.
