New Design Projects & New Job

In the past few months, I’ve been able to work on some exciting new projects. My latest graphic pieces include several posters in support of an Houston Health Department’s presentation at the 2017 National African American MSM (men who have sex with men) Leadership Conference.

A little background, in October 2016 I received a promotion and I am now a marketing manager for the Houston Health Department (HHD). In this capacity, I oversee the marketing campaigns for Project PrIDE, an HIV education and prevention CDC grant funded initiative. Project PrIDE is a grant funded project created to support health departments in implementing two public health strategies to reduce new HIV infections. Our target demographic is African American and Latino gay and bi-sexual men ages 18 – 34.
